Report: Spurs have to battle Man City and Arsenal for key Postecoglou target

Fichajes have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur could face major competition from their Premier League rivals in their pursuit of Club Brugge winger Antonio Nusa this summer.

After Nusa’s failed move to Brentford in January, the winger is now being backed to seal a big transfer at the end of the season, with Fichajes claiming that the teenager is emerging as ‘one of the most coveted talents’ across Europe.

The report says that the winger’s technique, speed and agility have caught the attention of a number of clubs in England, with Tottenham at the forefront.

Spurs, Man City and Arsenal all like Antonio Nusa

The outlet says that Spurs are keen to strengthen their attack and add depth to their forward line, and the Lilywhites view Nusa as a ‘key piece for their future project’.

However, it is made clear that even though Tottenham have emerged as ‘one of the main interested parties’ , they anticipate ‘fierce competition’ from their rivals for the attacker.

The report says that Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea have also shown ‘strong interest’ in the Club Brugge star, with the transfer race for the youngster having all the makings of an ‘exciting contest’ between those sides.

With some of the Premier League’s most powerful clubs after Nusa, the publication says that the player’s future promises to be ‘one of the soap operas’ of the upcoming transfer window.

The fact that Nusa picked Brentford ahead of the likes of Spurs in January suggests that the winger is keen to ensure he moves to a club where he is likely to get regular game time. The same factor could give Tottenham an advantage over the likes of City and Arsenal in the race for the 19-year-old this summer.
