The Daily Mail have reported that Tottenham Hotspur are now looking for goalkeeper targets beyond Nick Pope in the summer transfer window, with the Burnley shot-stopper having been their first choice.
It is said that Spurs are worried that Burnley will price them out of a move for the England keeper and may ask for in excess of £30m.
The Daily Mail also claim that current Spurs captain and number one, Hugo Lloris, may be subject of interest from PSG this summer and a replacement may be needed.
Due to the financial implications of COVID-19, Tottenham have reportedly highlighted some cheaper keeper options beyond Nick Pope in case they cannot afford the Burnley man.
This list is said to include both the Wolfsburg shot-stopped, Koen Casteels, and Lille keeper, Mike Maignan. Spurs are said to have scouted the former ‘extensively’ and the latter is coming into the final year of his contract this summer.
