Report: Spurs hope to complete third signing in the next week

Tottenham Hotspur could be set to make their third signing of the summer transfer window early next week.

The Evening Standard claim that Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon could be about to follow Jack Clarke and Tanguy Ndombele to North London.

While Danny Rose’s future at Spurs has been the subject of much speculation since the club announced that he was left out of the pre-season tour to the Far East to discuss a possible move away from the club (Spurs official) he did return to the side for the Audi Cup matches in midweek.

The report suggests that a deal for Sessegnon is not dependent on Rose’s future at the club.

Interest in Rose is said to have predominantly come from overseas with European giants Juventus and PSG having been said to be keen, however, they have until the end of this month to tie up a deal when their respective transfer windows close.

Sessegnon now has under twelve months to run on his current contract at Craven Cottage and the Championship side could risk losing him for free next summer if they do not cash in before the window shuts next Thursday.
