Report: Spurs hope to have Dele Alli back early

A report from the Daily Mail yesterday claimed that Spurs hope to have Dele Alli back earlier than expected, as he jetted off to Dubai for warm weather training this week.

Dele Alli picked up a hamstring injury late on in the win against Fulham at Wembley in January.

Spurs had been pushing for a winner, but Dele pushed a little too hard, closing down a clearance and damaging a muscle in the process, forcing him from the action.

Fans haven’t seen him on the pitch since, with early March earmarked as an expected return dat.

It was announced yesterday that Dele was also out in Dubai to take part in warm weather training, along with Tottenham staff.

The club are now said to believe he may be back in full training by the end of February, which will be music to supporters’ ears as the club inches into title contention.
