Report: Spurs hope to seal two deals for €150 million this summer

According to a report in La Nacion, Tottenham Hotspur hope to secure the signings of two Argentine internationals this summer for a total of €150 million – Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso and Juventus forward Paulo Dybala.

A report in Italy (Sky Italia) has confirmed Tottenham’s interest in Dybala, while suggesting he is also open to leaving the club.

It is also claimed that Juventus are open to letting him leave as they seek to raise funds for other reattaching reinforcements. The 25-year-old forward is reportedly available for €90 million.

Spurs have been linked with Giovani Lo Celso from the start of the window (BBC) but reports now suggest that the 23-year-old is expected to arrive in London for a medical soon after Betis recently completed the signing of Nabil Fekir from Lyon (the Mirror).

Spurs Web Opinion

When news of Tottenham’s interest in Dybala first emerged, we at Spurs Web thought that he could have been identified as an alternative for Lo Celso or that it could be a tactic to twist Betis’ arm. However, this report seems to suggest that the Lilywhites are serious about landing both, although the prospect of the club shelling out €150 million seems pretty unlikely.
