Football Insider have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur have identified Dinamo Zagreb goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic as an alternative to Jordan Pickford and David Raya.
We covered a report from Football Transfers a couple of days ago which claimed that Spurs had identified Pickford as their top target to replace Hugo Lloris this summer.
The publication added that the Everton number one is seeking assurances that Harry Kane will stay at the club before giving the green light to a switch to North London.
Meanwhile, multiple sources have claimed over the last week, including Italian journalist Rudy Galetti (GiveMeSport), that Spurs are at the front of the queue to land Raya this summer.
In fact, The Daily Mirror reported on Tuesday that the Spaniard was one of the names at the top of Tottenahm’s wishlist as they look to reshape their squad ahead of Ange Postecoglou‘s first season in charge.
Livakovic emerges as goalkeeping alternative for Tottenham
Football Insider have now confirmed that the Brentford and Everton stars are indeed on Spurs’ radar but the Lilywhites have also identified Livakovic as a potential alternative.
The 28-year-old, who has one year left to run on his contract at Zagreb, was one of the best goalkeepers on show at last year’s World Cup.

It is asserted that Tottenham could now snap up the Croat for a fee of around £10m this summer.

I can see Spurs signing Livakovic as a backup option for next season as I would not be surprised if Fraser Forster follows Lloris out of the door.
However, I do not think the Spurs would see the Croat as a potential successor to their current captain and a move for David Raya would be more likely given his Premier League experience.
