Report: Spurs identify two Trippier replacements after United agree Wan-Bissaka deal

Tottenham Hotspur have consistently been linked with a variety of young English right-backs this summer after Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier were disappointing to say the least last season.

Trippier have recently been linked with a move to either Juventus or Napoli, with both said to be engaging in a £25m tug of war for the Russia World Cup star (Mirror).

Serge Aurier was also included on a list of players who may be sold at the start of the transfer window by the Evening Standard.

One player Spurs had been linked with this transfer window was Crystal Palace’s breakthrough 21-year-old star, Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

However, the BBC now report that Manchester United have agreed a £50m fee with the Eagles for Wan-Bissaka, all but killing any Spurs hope of a deal.

So, who else could Pochettino bring in this summer?

The Guardian claim that Spurs are interested in two other options at this moment in time, Norwich City’s Max Aarons and Fulham right-back Steven Sessegnon.

Spurs have been linked with a move for Max Aarons throughout the transfer window (Football London), with talkSPORT also reporting that Spurs wanted the Sessegnon twins, Steven and Ryan, earlier this month.
