Report: Spurs ignore three clubs interested in 22-year-old as they want him for new season

Tottenham Hotspur look set to keep Kyle Walker-Peters at the club after the academy graduate impressed in the pre-season tour of Asia.

Walker-Peters was not only the only out-and-out right-back on the tour, but also the only senior full-back, with Ben Davies recovering from injury, Rose seemingly up for sale, Trippier already sold, and Aurier resting after the African Cup of Nations (Tottenham).

The 22-year-old Englishman has spent the last two seasons in and around Pochettino’s first-team squad, but his appearances in the Premier League have been sporadic.

Walker-Peters is of the age now where he will be looking for first-team football in order to progress his career and improve as a player.

The Sun state that Spurs have ignored interest from Crystal Palace, Brighton, and RB Leipzig over possible deals for the right-back this summer.

With Aurier yet to play in pre-season and Juan Foyth banned for the first two Prem matches, Walker-Peters is likely to start the first game of the season against Aston Villa.
