The 19-year-old who is out of contract at Craven Cottage next summer has already made it clear to Fulham that he wants to make the switch to Mauricio Pochettino’s side ahead of the transfer window closing at 5pm on Thursday.

Spurs are said to have given their transfer efforts an increased impetues following Pochettino’s recent outburst when he claimed that he was not in charge of the club’s transfers after the recent period of inactivity.

The arrival of Sessegnon for around £30million would represent good business for a player who is regarded as one of the brightest talents in English football.

It is certainly going to be a busy few days for Spurs fans as the rumour mill kicks into gear.
