Report: Spurs interested in Brazilian winger, but may have to give up their own star to get him

Tottenham Hotspur have a couple of top class wingers at the club now, something they have been missing in recent years.

Win Heung Min Son at the height of his career, scoring goals for fun, and Lucas Moura nipping past defenders effortlessly on the other wing, Spurs are in good hands.

However, this hasn’t stopped the North London outfit being linked with a move for Juventus’ Douglas Costa.

Calciomercato have reported that Spurs are interested in the superstar forward, a player who excelled against Tottenham last season in the Champions League.

However, as SportWitness discuss, the report also states that Juventus may use any Spurs enquiry over Costa as a chance to get their hands on Christian Eriksen.

Eriksen’s current contract runs out in the summer of 2020, meaning that he may be available this summer for a transfer if Spurs do not agree a new deal with the Great Dane.
