Report: Spurs interested in signing French teenage sensation – Fee set at £45m

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing the French teenage sensation, Eduardo Camavinga, from Rennes after a recent rise to prominence.

Camavinga broke into the first-team set-up at Rennes last season, clocking up seven appearances for the senior team. He has followed that up this year by playing 24 games and scoring his first senior goal, all at the age of 17 (Wikipedia).

The youngster has been at Rennes since he was 11, and despite being born in Angola, has French citizenship and has played for the French U21 side.

Sport have now claimed that Tottenham are interested in acquiring his services, while the teenager is also on Barcelona’s radar. Liverpool are also said to be monitoring the situation (relayed by Sport Witness).

The report adds that Rennes will not let him leave for less than €50m, something they are not flexible on, and that Camavinga’s camp want to listen to offers made by all clubs, not just the European giants Barcelona.
