Report: Spurs left sweating over Hugo Lloris fitness news ahead of Arsenal clash

According to The Telegraph, Tottenham Hotspur are sweating over the fitness of Hugo Lloris ahead of the North London Derby, with the goalkeeper facing a late test to determine whether he could be available for the clash on Sunday.

Lloris has been in excellent form this season and has already saved the Lilywhites some crucial points in the Premier League.

He produced a brilliant save down low to his left-hand side in the dying moments of the game against Chelsea last Sunday to ensure that Spurs came away from Stamford Bridge with a draw.

The Frenchman did not make the trip to Austria for the clash against LASK on Thursday, with Joe Hart being handed a start and Alfie Whiteman named on the bench.

Hart certainly did not cover himself in glory against LASK as he was arguably at fault for two of the home side’s three goals in the 3-3 draw.

The Telegraph reveals that the former England number one could be set to make his first Premier League start in almost a year against Arsenal if Lloris fails a late fitness test.
