According to AS (17/11/22 as relayed by Sports Illustrated) Barcelona forward Memphis Depay, who is rumoured to be on Tottenham’s radar, is open to joining Chelsea in January.
Depay made just three appearances for Barcelona in the first part of the season and his contract at Camp Nou runs out next summer (Transfermarkt).
90 min reported last week that Antonio Conte wants to add another attacker to his squad in January, with the Barca star alleged to be one of the names on the North London club’s radar.
The centre-forward is expected to lead the line for the Netherlands at the World Cup but it has now been suggested that he could be on the move once the tournament ends.
AS claim that Barcelona want to cash in on Depay in January to free up some funds to move for their own transfer targets.
It is alleged that the Blues tried to sign the 28-year-old in the summer and could reignite their interest in the player in January, with Graham Potter’s men said to be on the lookout for a striker.

The report adds that Depay would be open to the possibility of returning to the Premier League.
Spurs Web Opinion
I believe that Conte will prefer to sign a winger who can cover for Dejan Kulusevski in January rather than a centre-forward like Depay. Richarlison is more than capable of playing centrally if Harry Kane is out injured or if he needs a rest.
