Report: Spurs-linked player frustrated that Juventus plan on keeping him

According to a report by Goal.com, Juventus have no intention of letting rumoured Tottenham Hotspur target Merih Demiral leave during the current transfer window.

Spurs were linked with a move for Demiral during the summer as well but eventually ended up moving for Joe Rodon from Swansea city.

Rodon has not got much of a look in since arriving at the club and reports indicate that the North Londoners are looking to add another central defender to their squad this month (Evening Standard).

Fanatik reported earlier this week that Spurs could reignite their interest in Demiral, who has made only 10 appearances for Juve this season in all competitions (transfermarkt.com).
The report claimed that the Lilywhites were facing competition from the likes of Liverpool, Leicester City, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid for the 22-year-old.
However, Goal now claim that the Serie A giants have no intention of letting the defender leave, much to the Turkish international’s frustration.
It is said that Andrea Pirlo’s side will reassess the situation at the end of the season but Demiral will remain in Turin until then.
Spurs Web Opinion
Demiral could potentially be a top player in the future but singing him would certainly entail some risk. Given that we already have some promising young talents in the form of Tanganga and Rodon, what we need is an experienced campaigner who can be a leader for us at the back.
