Report: Spurs-linked Spaniard could be on the move this summer

Brighton and Hove Albion could be open to offers for goalkeeper Robert Sanchez this summer, according to talkSPORT.

Sanchez has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur with the north Londoners looking to bring in a long-term successor to Hugo Lloris, who will be in the final year of his contract at the end of the campaign (Football Insider).
The Spaniard has lost his place in the Seagulls starting eleven to Jason Steele in recent weeks and the south coast outfit are open to his exit should they receive a sizeable offer.

While Fraser Forster provided solid cover in the absence of Lloris in recent weeks, Spurs need to ensure a ball-playing goalkeeper is high on their summer shopping list.
It is hard to criticise Lloris when he has given his best years to the club and stuck by while we played season after season of Europa League when he could have comfortably played Champions League football elsewhere.
The reality is, football has moved on and he is an analogue keeper in a digital age when it comes to playing out from the back and the requirement that the man between the sticks is able to help get the ball moving.
