Tottenham Hotspur are being linked with a move for Juventus defender Merih Demiral ahead of the January transfer window.
Bleacher Report claim that the Turkish international is likely to depart the Serie A champions in January.
Demiral only joined the Old Lady in the summer from fellow Italian side Sassuolo but has hardly featured this season under Maurizio Sarri having only made one appearance in Serie A this season after finding himself behind Giorgio Chiellini and Matthijs De Ligt in the pecking order (transfermarkt).
The 21-year-old Turkish international is also attracting interest from AC Milan, but is said to be not keen on a move to another Italian club.
Spurs are reported to have already made contact with the player’s agent about a move to North London ahead of Arsenal who are also monitoring his situation.
With Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen both out of contract at Tottenham come the end of the season, Spurs could find themselves potentially two central defenders short ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.
