Football Insider have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are set to battle Fulham and Chelsea for Club Brugge sensation Antonio Nusa in January.

Nusa broke into Club Brugge’s starting eleven last season and the 18-year-old has made an impressive start to the 2023-24 campaign, with four-goal contributions in nine league matches so far (Transfermarkt).

Tottenham’s interest in the versatile attacker came to light last week when Fabrizio Romano told Kick that the Lilywhites are keeping an eye on the youngster.

Fulham, Chelsea and Spurs all like Antonio Nusa

Football Insider have now revealed that Fulham were making advances towards Nusa and have now been joined in the race for the player by Spurs and Chelsea.

It is revealed that Club Brugge do not want to lose the winger, who can play in either flank or up front, given his importance to the side.

The report adds that the Belgian side are likely to hold out for £30m for the Norway international and are hoping that a bidding war ensues from the three London clubs.

Spurs Web Opinion

Nusa is the kind of versatile forward that Tottenham need and the North London club should be able to make a strong case to the 18-year-old that his development would be best served by working with Postecoglou at Hotspur Way.
