Report: Spurs make bid for emerging European talent with an interesting clause

The world stood up and took notice of Rennes midfielder, Eduardo Camavinga, this week as the youngster put in a fantastic display in a 2-1 win over PSG.

The central midfielder is only 16-years-old, but was awarded the man of the match award for his mature performance against the French champions.

As well as running the show from the centre of the park, Camavinga also came up with the assist that saw Rennes win the game.

Of course, with such talent at such a young age, various big European clubs have now taken an interest in the teenager, including Tottenham.

Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich are all said to also be interested, and joined Spurs in making bids for the midfielder (L’Equipe).

Spurs’ bid is said to have included a two-year loan back to the French club, which seems like a smart offer as first-team football is a better option for development than Tottenham’s academy.

Should Spurs go in big for this player?
