Report: Spurs make contact with Bayern Munich player and will soon offer contract

The Daily Mail reported last week that Spurs have made an enquiry to Bayern Munich for young Taylor Booth, who has been impressive for the club’s Under-19s this season.

The 18-year-old was one of the stars of the show as Bayern’s Under-19s beat Tottenham 3-0 to knock them out of the UEFA Youth League last December.

Football Insider now reveals that Spurs are working hard to entice the teenager to North London. The report claims that the Lilywhites have already made contact with Booth’s camp and will soon offer him a lucrative contract.

The USA Under-19 international signed a three-year contract with Bayern just last summer, but the report suggests that a move to Spurs is on the cards for the versatile midfielder.

The report further adds that Tottenham’s transfer strategy this summer is to focus on signing upcoming stars as they want to be cautious in the wake of the financial crunch caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
