Report: Spurs man will not seek Russia or China exit despite windows remaining open

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Victor Wanyama, looks to have been frozen out by yet another manager in North London as he has appeared just once under Jose Mourinho.

Wanyama played for eight minutes in the Champions League tie against Bayern Munich, although there was nothing but pride riding on the game.

The Kenyan was once a first-choice player under Pochettino, forming a dynamic duo with Mousa Dembele in the centre of the pitch, but those days are long gone.

The Athletic report that Wanyama feels as though Spurs priced him out of a move in the January transfer market, although he was also unwilling to take a wage cut.

The report adds that the midfield man will not look to force his way out of the club to China or Russia before the season ends, with these two transfer windows remaining open.

He is said to be willing to stay at Spurs and keep up his fitness, but is unlikely to play again.
