Report: Spurs may have competition if they want to sign Randal Kolo Muani

Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol has revealed that Paris Saint-Germain have turned their attention to Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani after failing in their pursuit of Harry Kane.

Bayern Munich appear to be in the driving seat to land Kane, with Fabrizio Romano revealing this morning that the German club’s hierarchy are optimistic about wrapping up a deal for the striker even though they have not yet met Tottenham’s valuation as of yet.

Until last week, multiple outlets claimed that PSG had not given up on the Tottenham man, although it was suggested by The Telegraph that the England captain was set to turn down the chance to move to Parc des Princes as he had his heart set on a move to Bayern.

PSG turn attention to Spurs target Kolo Muani

Solhekol has now said on Sky Sports’ Football Daily that PSG are now preparing for life after Kylian Mbappe and have turned their attention to Kolo Munai.

The journalist explained that the Parisians failed with approaches for both Kane and Rasmus Hojlund, which is why they have now begun talks to sign the Frankfurt star.

This is not good news for Spurs as some sources have reported over recent weeks that the North London club had identified Kolo Muani as a potential replacement for Kane (Bild).

Spurs Web Opinion

I never thought Kolo Muani was a realistic target for Spurs as the 24-year-old was always unlikely to join a club who are not in the Champions League.

Among the strikers we have been linked with recently, Dusan Vlahovic and Jonathan David seem like the most realistic and interesting options to replace Kane.
