Report: Spurs may let summer signing leave on loan with an option to buy

Il Romanista have reported that Tottenham could let Richarlison leave on loan with an option to buy this summer, just 12 months on from signing him from Everton

It has been far from a dream move for Richarlison this year, with his only Premier League goal coming against Liverpool a couple of weeks ago.

The Brazilian has largely been used as a rotational option with Dejan Kulusevski, and has struggled to find the back of the net with the regularity he showed on Merseyside.

Il Romanista have now reported that Tottenham may loan Richarlison out next season so he can regain his form and reset his market price.

Serie A is mentioned as a possible destination, with AS Roma, Inter Milan and AC Milan all interested in the Tottenham man.

Spurs paid a significant £50m plus another £10m in add-ons for the Brazilian striker last summer (SkySports), although they would do well to recoup that fee in the upcoming transfer window.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I would be very surprised if Tottenham sold Richarlison this summer, or even loaned him out.

Yes, he has had a poor season, but so has every forward apart from Kane.

Spurs finally have depth up front and they will be looking to add to that this summer, not take from it.
