Report: Spurs named as one of four clubs fighting it out for 28-year-old

French publication But! Football Club have named Tottenham as one of four clubs battling out for Paulo Dybala’s signature, along with Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid.

Some reports over the last few weeks have named Spurs as the front-runners to snap up Dybala when his contract with Juventus runs out this summer (Foot Mercato).

However, this information has been contradicted by other sources, who claim that Dejan Kulusevski’s impressive showing has convinced the North London club not to push ahead with a move for the Argentine (TuttoMercatoWeb).

But! Football Club have now named Spurs as one of the four contenders for the 28-year-old’s signature.

The report primarily explores PSG’s interest in Dybala, explaining that the Ligue 1 club have met with the Juve star’s representatives.

It is asserted that the Parisians are eyeing the former Palermo man as a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who is expected to leave in the summer.

But! Football Club explain, however, that Inter Milan are the favourites to snap up Dybala and that discussions between the Nerazzurri and the player’s entourage are expected to accelerate over the coming weeks.

Spurs Web Opinion

I do not see where Dybala will fit in at Spurs and I would be surprised if the club pursued the Argentine. It could be good news for Tottenham if the 28-year-old is headed to Inter as that could potentially open the door for us to move for Lautaro Martinez.
