Fanatik have named Tottenham Hotspur among the three leading contenders to sign Fenerbahce star Sebastian Szymanski in the summer.
Szymanski has caught the eye with his displays for Fenerbache this season, with the 27-year-old quickly emerging as one of the best number sixes in Turkish football.
Tottenham’s interest in the Poland international first came to light last month when Star Gazetesi claimed that the Lilywhites were keeping an eye on the performances of the midfielder, who is allegedly valued at £30m.
Competition heating up
Fatanik have now also backed up the same information, claiming that even though Szymanski’s form has dropped off a little over the last month, has not deterred Ange Postecoglou’s men.
The report states that Tottenham are continuing to watch the midfielder closely and ‘could make a move’ for him when the transfer window opens in June.
The publication adds that the North London club have been joined in the race for Szymaaski by AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen, who have also been impressed with the player’s displays this season.

A defensive midfielder is likely to be top of Postecoglou’s agenda for the summer, with Hojbjerg and Skipp potentially on their way out.
However, it is too early to speculate on which players Tottenham would pursue. The club will likely be in the scouting phase at the moment and will not arrive at a list of targets until April or May.
