Report: Spurs named as the third most valuable Premier League club – How much?

Tottenham Hotspur have certainly had a rise to prominence over the last five years, with last year’s Champions League Final taking them to the next level.

Spurs have also consistently finished in the Champions League spots in the Prem for the last four years, while others have struggled to maintain such consistency.

TransferMarkt data has now revealed that Spurs are the third most valuable Premier League club at the moment, behind only Man City and Liverpool (Sun).

Spurs are valued at £881.55m for their 24-man squad, with an average of £36.73m per player. Man City sit atop the table with £1.15 billion, while Liverpool’s squad is rated at £959.18m.

That means that Tottenham’s squad is just £80m lower than Liverpool’s, although the gap in points and class has been far higher.

Chelsea come next in fourth, but drop well below Spurs with a valuation of just £697.95m. Man United are at £644.63m and Arsenal are on £570.38m.
