Foot Mercato have reported that Tottenham have now offered a contract renewal to Thimothée Lo-Tutala after the young goalkeeper has won everyone at the club over.
The 18-year-old has been the captain and number one for the U18 side this season, keeping six clean sheets and conceding just 11 in 13 games (TransferMarkt).
It was Mauricio Pochettino who first invited Lo-Tutala to train with the first team and Jose Mourinho has continued that during his two seasons at the club.
However, the young shot-stopper’s contract runs out at the end of the current season, meaning he would be able to leave Tottenham on a free transfer.
The report claims that Spurs have sent their ‘first offer’ to renew Lo-Tutala’s contract and his team are taking the time to evaluate their options.
It is said that ‘big clubs’ from both France and the Netherlands are positioning themselves to make a move for Lo-Tutala if he decides to leave Spurs and that the keeper is in ‘great demand’.
