Report: Spurs one of three Premier League clubs interested in 21-year-old playmaker

Tottenham Hotspur are said to be one of three Premier League clubs interested in signing the Dinamo Zagreb attacking midfielder, Dani Olmo.

The report from Croatian outlet Sportske also claims that one Premier League club has already submitted a bid of £21.3m, although this club remains unnamed.

Many will remember that Olmo was a star for Spain in the U21 European Championships back in the summer and he has now gone on to claim his first senior cap.

Olmo’s contract expires in 2021, with the Croatian club said to be keen on cashing in rather than losing him on a free transfer.

So far this season, Olmo has played 22 games, scored eight goals, and assisted another seven, with nine goal involvements coming in the Champions League (Transfer Market).

Last season, Olmo managed 12 goals and nine assists in 44 games for Dinamo Zagreb (Transfer Markt).

Olmo joined Barcelona’s youth academy from Espanyol in 2007 when he was nine years old before moving to Zagreb in the summer of 2014.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Spurs should be on the lookout for creative sparks to replace Eriksen in the near future, and I doubt that Levy will break the bank for such a player, so perhaps Olmo is one to watch.
