90 min have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are one of several big clubs across Europe eyeing a move for Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram in January.

Thuram has come on leaps and bounds over the past couple of years, and the midfielder, who won his first cap for Les Blues earlier this year, looks ready to make a step up to a bigger club.

90 min claims that the 22-year-old was on Liverpool’s radar during the summer transfer window but the Reds chose to prioritise other targets instead.

The race is heating up for Nice’s Khephren Thuram

It is explained that Jurgen Klopp’s men have asked to be kept informed of the Frenchman’s situation but they are not alone as Spurs, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich have allegedly also scouted the player over the last few weeks.

However, the publication adds that it is Juventus who hold ‘the strongest interest’ in Thuram ahead of the January transfer window.

It is asserted that his father, Lilian, who spent five seasons at the Turin club during his playing days, wants his son to join the Old Lady.

Even if Bentancur gets back to his best sooner rather than later, Spurs will still likely be in the market for a central midfielder in January as I expect Pierre-Emile Hobjerg to push for a move away from the club, with Atletico likely to reignite their interest in the Dane.
