Report: Spurs one of five Premier League clubs eyeing a move for Real Madrid star

HITC have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are now eyeing a summer move for Real Madrid star Brahim Diaz, who is shining at the Spanish capital this season.

While Diaz initially struggled to make an impact at Madrid after returning from his loan spell at AC Milan, the attacking midfielder has grown in importance to Carlo Ancelotti’s side over the course of the campaign.

Despite having to compete with the likes of Jude Bellingham and Federico Valverde for a place in the side, the 24-year-old has made 33 appearances for Madrid this season, scoring nine goals and providing four assists (Transfermarkt).

Interest is now growing in Brahim Diaz

HITC now say that a number of Premier League sides are now interested in Diaz, with Tottenham among the sides keeping an eye on the player’s performances.

The outlet reveals that the Lilywhites have been joined in the race for the midfielder by the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea.

However, the publication adds that as things stand, the Madrid star has no plans of leaving the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season.

Spurs Web Opinion

I can see why the likes of Spurs and other Premier League sides would try to tempt Diaz in the summer with the offer of regular game time. However, it is going to be difficult to prize the 24-year-old away from Los Blancos this summer, with Ancelotti evidently rating the player highly.
