Report: Spurs one of three clubs to make offer for €50m-rated striker

Based on the reports so far this summer, it looks like there has been a lot of contact between Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid over each other’s players.

Kieran Trippier has joined Atleti from Spurs already while other reports have suggested that Tottenham have offered Christian Eriksen to the La Liga giants (AS).

Besides this, Spurs are also one of many clubs to have been linked with Atleti forward Angel Correa (Sky Sports).

Now, according to a report in Sky Sport Italia, Tottenham are one of three clubs to have made an offer to Atletico Madrid for Correra, along with AC Milan and Valencia.

The Argentine forward, who ended up with 5 goals and 4 assists in 49 appearances in all competitions last season (Transfer Markt), is said to be available for €50 million.

The report claims that Milan are locked in negotiations for the 24-year-old forward but aren’t willing to meet Atleti’s valuation. It is claimed that Tottenham and Valencia are ready to pounce if the negotiations between Milan and Atletico break down.
