According to GOAL, Tottenham are open to selling both Giovani Lo Celso and Dele Alli in the final days of the January transfer window.

Both midfielders were left out of the squad to face Chelsea this evening in the Premier League, despite Antonio Conte seeming short on reinforcements.

The Italian boss decided to play with a back four and two wing-backs against Chelsea, including the likes of Harvey White on the bench over the experienced duo.

Tottenham fell to a 2-0 defeat against their bitter rivals and GOAL now claim that Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici will look to cash in on Dele and Lo Celso in the next week or so.

Lo Celso took to Instagram just before the game to react to questions he had apparently received about not playing despite being at full fitness.

He wrote: “Regarding the questions I received, I would like to clear out that I am 100 per cent in good physical condition. I have no problem and I feel very well. I wish the best to my team in the derby today.”

Having played the final game before the transfer window slams shut, thanks to the upcoming international break, Spurs will have a chance to work behind the scenes on incomings and outgoings.

Spurs Web Opinion:

We are at the point now where it is simply a case of asking Conte who he wants to sell, then selling them for whatever the best fee you can get is. You will not recuperate the fee you paid, and for too long Spurs have delayed because of that. Sell who Conte doesn’t want, buy who he wants, and let him take the club forward.

  1. Levy had better start backing Conte now, he has so much work to do and so many positions to improve, we simply can not waste any transfer window.
Levy ain’t going to like it, but it’s going to cost a pretty penny to sort this out. It’s all due to the poor investment and poor recruitment by Levy over the past decade or so. Instead of paying for quality Levy would rather scrimp and save a few quid here and there and end up with players that simply aren’t good enough, we have a team full of ’em. Doherty, Emerson, Sanchez, Dier, Davies, Sessegnon, Bergwijn, Gil, Gollini, Rodon, Dele, Ndombele and LoCelso, all of them are NOT good enough to play for Spurs, it’s that simple.
Unless Levy starts buying quality nothing is going to change and things won’t get any better, and winning a trophy is a million miles away from happening. We have a billionaire owner who’s not interested in backing one of the best managers in the world, what’s the point in hiring him if you don’t back him financially? It’s all about doing little things here and there just to keep the fans off their backs, when the going gets a little tough they spend a little to excite the fans, then sell our best players to get their money back, how many times has that happened?
Levy and Lewis are fleecing Spurs and our supporters, just look at the map of what property is owned by Lewis and Levy around the stadium, spending all that cash on property ain’t doing the team any good, just their bank balance, they’re the only winners here.
While Levy and Lewis control Spurs we’ll win nothing as spending money on the team is to them, throwing money away.
    # Levy Lewis & ENIC OUT!!
