Report: Spurs plan to ‘move quickly’ for Paratici’s top manager target

The Telegraph have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur plan to move quickly to snap up Fabio Paratici’s top managerial target, with the Italian already said to be working to identify Jose Mourinho’s successor.

Tottenham have already missed out on the likes of Julian Nagelseman, Brendan Rodgers and Mauricio Pochettino, which was why the collapse in talks with Antonio Conte was met with such overwhelming frustration by sections of the Spurs fan base.

It remains unclear as to what the club’s next move will be, with Fabrizio Romano claiming (starting at 14:13 in the video) that Spurs still hope to confirm an appointment in the next few days.

The Telegraph now report that despite Paratici’s appointment not being officially announced by Spurs, the 48-year-old is already at work in identifying the club’s next manager.

The report explains that the North London club are back to square one in their managerial hunt, with the former Juventus chief football officer drafting a new shortlist of targets.

It is asserted that Levy will not waste any time in pushing ahead with a move for the top candidate identified by Paratici.

Despite the process being entrusted to Paratici, the report explains that the Spurs chairman will have the final say on the managerial appointment.
