Football Insider have revealed that Eric Dier has agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich ahead of a sensational January switch to the Allianz Arena.
The report says that Dier, who has been informed by Spurs that he is free to leave, is now ‘closing in’ on a sensational move to Bavaria.
If he does make the switch, the centre-back will be reunited with Harry Kane, who has made a blistering start to life in the Bundesliga.
Football Insider alleges that Kane fully endorsed Bayern’s move for Dier, with the Spurs centre-back said to have made up his mind to join Thomas Tuchel’s side.

The outlet says that the deal is now expected to go through after Tottenham bring a new centre-back through the door.
The publication asserts that with Spurs having had extensive discussions over a deal for Radu Dragusin, they will sanction Dier’s move to Germany once the Romanian international arrives through the door.
This update comes less than 24 hours after Ange Postecoglou stated in his press conference on Thursday that the 29-year-old defender’s destiny is in his own hands since he has only six months left on his deal (Charlie Eccleshare).

I am quite surprised by this development as Dier would essentially be swapping the Tottenham bench for the Bayern Munich one. The 29-year-old is almost certainly not going to start ahead of Kim Min-jae, Dayot Upamecano and Matthijs de Ligt.
