Report: Spurs player could follow Dembele to China

Tottenham Hotspur are in the midst of a striker crisis in North London, but that won’t be enough to hand outcast Vincent Janssen another chance under Pochettino.

Spurs currently have Harry Kane out injured until early March, as well as Dele Alli, who could have been used as a false nine.

Heung Min Son is away on international duty with South Korea, and Lucas Moura has only just returned from an injury of his own.

All of this means Fernando Llorente is the only available senior striker currently at the club, but Pochettino still refused to recall Janssen from the under 23s.

Janssen has featured three times for the U23 team since returning from a foot injury, scoring one and setting up another three.

A report from The Sun now states that the Dutchman could be following ex-teammate Mousa Dembele to China in the near future.

They claim there has been interest in the striker from China, and with Janssen desperate to move on, and Spurs wanting some money back, a move could be imminent.
