Report: Spurs player has been contacted by clubs in USA and Middle East

According to a report from UOL (as translated by Sport Witness), Lucas Moura will start analysing the various offers on the table in April.

It is now clear that Moura’s five-and-a-half-year spell at Tottenham will come to an end this summer, with the winger’s contract set to run out in June (Transfermarkt).

The 30-year-old’s agent, Junior Pedroso told Jorge Nicola’s YouTube Channel earlier this month that his client already has several offers on the table while Goal suggested a couple of weeks ago that the player is generating interest in the Premier League, Serie A, Major League Soccer and Qatar.

UOL have now asserted that Moura is expected to start studying the various proposals from next month.

The report states that the former Paris Saint-Germain star has ‘many approaches’ and that his ‘priority’ is to sign another long-term contract with a European club.

However, it is explained that the best offers on the table for the Tottenham man at the moment have come from the United States and the Middle East.

Moura perhaps has to choose between getting one final big payday in the Middle East or the MLS and continuing to play at the very top level in Europe.

Given the financial state of Italian and Spanish clubs, it is unlikely that they would be able to match the offers that the winger gets from Qatar or Saudi Arabia.
