Report: Spurs player hopeful of move away from the club by Friday

Tottenham Hotspur are not exactly stacked on full-back options at the moment, but one player could be on his way out of the club as early as this week.

Spurs have deployed Serge Aurier at right-back for the vast majority of games under Jose Mourinho, and have central defenders such as Japhet Tanganga and Juan Foyth who can cover there.

On the left side, Ryan Sessegnon is the only fit out-and-out left-back, as Danny Rose missed out again this weekend. Again, central defenders Jan Vertonghen and Japhet Tanganga can cover there, with Ben Davies also on the mend.

Therefore, Spurs are reportedly prepared to send Kyle Walker-Peters out of the door at Hotspur Way, with Crystal Palace, Brighton, and Southampton all interested (Sunday People – 19/01/20 page 49).

Walker-Peters is said to hope that the move will be finalised as early as Friday this week, as the academy graduate has struggled for game time in recent months.
