The Daily Mail have revealed that Hugo Lloris reported to training as normal at Hotspur Way on Wednesday as talks between Tottenham and Lazio over the Frenchman continued.
It emerged yesterday that Lazio are keen on signing Lloris on a free transfer but Tottenham do not want to terminate the year left on the goalkeeper’s contract and are hoping to get a small transfer fee for the veteran (Evening Standard).

The Mail have now stated that while Lloris is expected to leave Tottenham, he has not decided on a destination yet.
The report claims that the goalkeeper will make a decision on a potential switch to Rome if and when Lazio and Spurs agree on a deal.
The outlet adds that despite the move now appearing ‘closer’, the 36-year-old remains in London and continues to train with the Lilywhites.

I wonder if the goalkeeper would have played his cards differently and considered remaining at Spurs as an understudy to Vicario if he knew earlier in the summer that he would be faced with this kind of situation.
