Report: Spurs player wanted by six Premier League clubs

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Jose Mourinho took the decision to leave Danny Rose out of the matchday squad yet again for the game against Norwich City last night.

Rose has now missed the last three squads and there have been reports of a bust-up between the left-back and the Special One (Daily Mail).

Sky Sports have now reported that a whopping six Premier League clubs are interested in signing Rose, who is Tottenham’s longest-serving senior player.

However, Danny has featured in only three of the last 14 Tottenham Premier League matches, with the home match against Liverpool being his only start in that time.

Mourinho has opted for the likes of Jan Vertonghen, Japhet Tanganga, and Ryan Sessegnon in recent weeks, two of whom are not even left-backs. Ben Davies is also an option once he returns from injury.

Newcastle United and Watford have been named as two interested parties, but Sky Sports do not name the other four.

Spurs Web Opinion:

The time has come to sell, however, Danny Rose should be treated with the utmost respect as a player who has always given his all, spoken his mind, and committed the vast majority of his career to Tottenham.
