Report: Spurs player’s agent makes contact with AC Milan over a potential transfer

Calciomercato have said that AC Milan are being offered the chance to sign Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Tottenham and that the Italian side are now considering a move.

The report says that after the success that Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have had at San Siro, Milan are ready to look towards the Premier League again for their summer recruits.

It is revealed that the Serie A side want to bolster their midfield department this summer, which is why Hojbjerg is an option for them.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to AC Milan?

It is explained that the 28-year-old is represented by Unique Sports Group, whose client lists include Milan’s Malick Thiaw. In fact, the report says that is the agency that has offered Hojbjerg to the Rossoneri.

The outlet states that with the midfielder’s contract with Tottenham running out in 2025, Stefano Pioli’s side would be able to sign him for around €20m (£17m).

However, the publication adds that as things stand, the Hojbjerg track is not ‘particularly hot’ for Milan, who are also looking at other midfielders, including AS Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana.

Hojbjerg has changed his representation in order to sort out his future and it thus comes as no surprise his agency has already started reaching out to potential suitors. The 28-year-old might want his future sorted out before the start of the European Championship.
