A report from the Daily Mail states that Tottenham players are confident that Mauricio Pochettino will remain at the club beyond this summer.
The report claims that Poch may have been in the running for the Real Madrid and Man United jobs, but with the recent appointment of Zidane at the former, and Solskjaer’s success at the latter, both now seem unlikely.
Tottenham Hotspur were having a wonderful time of it this season up until a couple of weeks ago, as they sat only a few points behind the League leaders.
However, after 11 dropped points out of the last 12, Spurs are no longer even guaranteed a top four spot and Champions League football next season.
Fans may have to enjoy the current European run while it lasts, as slipping out of the top four would mean the dreaded Europa League next year.
At least it appears Tottenham will hang on to Poch for another season.
