Report: Spurs prepared to let midfield pair leave on loan in January

According to a report by Football.London, Tottenham Hotspur will allow George Marsh and Anthony Georgiou to leave the club on loan in the January transfer window.

Marsh and Georgiou are not anywhere close to the first team at Spurs and spent last season on loan at Leyton Orient and Bolton, respectively.

Both players have a little over six months left to run on their contracts and will become free agents next summer (Marsh – transfermarkt / Georgiou – transfermarkt).

Football.London does not mention if the pair are likely to sign an extension before being loaned out in a similar fashion as Cameron Carter-Vickers did in the summer, but the report does suggest that they will leave on loan next month.

Meanwhile, the report also reveals that Jack Clarke could also be potentially allowed to leave Tottenham on loan.

It is said that the winger has impressed Jose Mourinho in training and the club rejected a number of loan offers for the youngster in the summer.

Tottenham will now make a decision on whether to loan Clarke out again in January, following his ill-fated spells at Leeds and QPR last season.
