Tottenham Hotspur are expected to dip into the transfer market this summer to replace former first-teamer Mousa Dembele who left back in January.
The player most strongly linked with a move to Tottenham in the coming weeks is Lyon powerhouse Tanguy Ndombele, with Sky Sports reporting the two clubs are in talks.
However, Lyon are said to rate the midfield man at £63m (Sky Sports), while Spurs have only managed a bid of around £40m this summer (Express).
Spurs and Daniel Levy may want to hurry up their approach though, as the Express now report that PSG are interested in the 22-year-old Frenchman.
The French champions apparently entered the bidding on Friday night, and if it comes down to a battle of the riches, Spurs will surely lose out to PSG.
Ndombele impressed not only in the French League this season, but in the Champions League too, especially against Tottenham’s fellow Prem side Man City.
Spurs Web Opinion:
I’ve been saying all week, if Spurs don’t get in a serious bid and get this deal done ASAP, someone else will swoop in with a bigger offer. If Levy lets it come down to a bidding war with the likes of PSG, Tottenham may as well give up now.
