According to Football Insider, Tottenham Hotspur are ready to table a £13m offer for Joe Rodon after holding fresh talks for the Swansea City defender.
There has been plenty of speculation regarding Tottenham’s interest in the 22-year-old over the past few days but reports indicated that the two clubs were still some way apart in their valuations, with Spurs only willing to offer £7m (The Times).
Rodon started for Wales in their international friendly against England on Thursday and it was a game to forget for the youngster, with the Three Lions emerging 3-0 victors.
Football Insider reports that Spurs are prepared to make a £13m offer after being given hope of landing the Swansea man, although the Welsh club are said to be holding out for upwards of £15m for their academy prospect.
The report asserts that Rodon, who has only two years left on his contract with Swansea, is keen to make the step up the Premier League.
