Report: Spurs receive first offer for Eriksen – but it is in the single digits

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Christian Eriksen, has under six months left on his current contract in North London, with his immediate future now up in the air.

The three main scenarios presenting themselves seem to be Eriksen leaving in January, leaving on a free in the summer, or signing a new deal, with there being no indication of the latter.

Eriksen has been a regular starter over the past couple of weeks for Jose Mourinho, but there are reports that Spurs have now received a January bid for the playmaker.

Il Messaggero have claimed that Inter Milan have come in with their first bid for the player, although their priority signing this month is Vidal.

The Italian news outley claim that Inter are still seriously considering Eriksen, and have made an opening bid of €10m for his services, which amounts to £8.5m.

Spurs Web Opinion:

While I believe that Daniel Levy will be open to selling this month, I doubt that he would accept anything under £20m for Eriksen.
