Report: Spurs receive positive news about Harry Kane’s plan for the summer

Dan Kilpatrick has written in The Evening Standard that Harry Kane will not agitate to leave Tottenham this summer as he does not wish to depart the club on a negative note.

The report states that Spurs have already turned down two of Bayern Munich’s offers for Kane.

However, it is alleged that even if the North London club continue to send back the Bundesliga club’s bids, Kane will not push for an exit like he did when Manchester City expressed their interest in him two years ago.

Harry Kane is looking forward to new Spurs season

Kilpatrick reveals that Daniel Levy is yet to tell the England captain if there is a chance he could be sold for the right price or is definitely going nowhere this summer.

The journalist explains that as things stand, Kane’s stance is that he is looking forward to the new season at Spurs.

He adds that the striker has had a positive conversation with Ange Postecoglou and is now expected to fly with the squad on the pre-season tour to Australia.

Kane is in a very strong position with just one year left on his contract. So, there is no reason for him to agitate for the move.

The striker knows that he would have a lot more options to choose from as a free agent next summer should Spurs decide against selling him.

However, the claim that Levy has not communicated to Kane that he will be staying at Spurs is quite an interesting detail.

That suggests that the Spurs chairman is open to selling the centre-forward this summer if the right offer arrives.
