Report: Spurs said to hold a preference of where Troy Parrott plays next season

Troy Parrott is reportedly set to be heading out on loan next season in an attempt to give the forward the opportunity to play regular first team football.

Parrott made his Premier League debut for Tottenham when Jose Mourinho brought him off the bench with five minutes left to play during the 5-0 thrashing of Burnley in December and only went on to play a single minute of further top flight action with a late cameo in the home defeat to Wolves in March.

The 18-year-old also won his first cap for the Republic of Ireland last season in what has been a breakthrough campaign for the Dubliner.

The Evening Standard is said to have a number of clubs interested in taking him on loan, with Millwall rumoured to be leading the chase.

Tottenham are reported to prefer for the young striker to remain in London with his compatriot Jason Molumby, having said to have sung the praises of Parrott while on loan at the New Den from Brighton.
