Report: Spurs scouts identify potential Carlos Vinicius replacement

According to a report from 90 min, Tottenham Hotspur could make a move for Besiktas forward Cyle Larin this summer.

Sky Sports reported last week that signing a back up for Harry Kane is one of Tottenham’s priorities during this summer’s transfer window, with the club having decided not to take up the option to sign Carlos Vinicius permanently.

90 min have now backed up that claim and suggested that Spurs scouts have identified Larin as a potential alternative.

The Canadian international, who is capable of playing on either flank or through the middle, is in the midst of the best campaign of his career, having racked up 23 goals in all competitions so far.

However, it is said that Tottenham are not the only club who have watched Larin, with West Ham United also sending scouts to Turkey to keep tabs on the forward.

The report reveals that the 26-year-old is set to enter the final 12 months of his contract with Besiktas and is aware of the interest in him ahead of the summer transfer window.
