Report: Spurs scouts in attendance at match involving Christian Eriksen

Tottenham Hotspur scouts were in attendance at Denmark’s UEFA Nations League fixture against Hungary last night, FA Registered Intermediary Paul O’Keefe has revealed on Twitter.

It was not made clear which players on duty the Spurs representatives were casting their eye over at the Ernst Happel Stadion in Vienna.

Denmark ran out 2-1 winners on the evening with Spurs’ Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg opening the scoring with a shot from inside the penalty area in the 27th minute.

Among the players on show last night that Spurs have been linked with were Christian Eriksen, who is currently out of contract at Brentford and is mulling over whether to sign a new long-term deal with the Bees or move elsewhere (Sky Sports).

Other clubs who were present at the match include Manchester United, West Ham and Borussia Dortmund.
