Report: Spurs set for further financial boost with new sponsorship deal

Tottenham Hotspur are set for another financial boost with the club on the verge of announcing a new training kit sponsor, according to Football.London.

While some Premier League clubs including Liverpool, Leicester City and Leeds United already have deals in place to monetise their training gear, Spurs have previously not taken up the opportunity.

The report claims that the deal has already been tied up and will see the brand which is yet to be revealed adorn the Nike training gear which the players wear when they are put through their paces at Hotspur Way.

The Daily Mail reported yesterday that the North Londoners are in advanced talks over a naming rights deal for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and a deal could be announced before the first Premier League game of the season on August 15th.

Revenue generated from the sponsorship of the training kit and the selling of the stadium naming rights will bring in some much-needed revenue for the club following the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. Supporters will want to see the money invested back into the first-team, rather than sitting on the bottom line.
