TalkSPORT have reported that Tottenham are now set to confirm Antonio Conte as their new manager after an agreement has been reached between both sides.
The report labels the agreement as a ‘done deal’ with Conte taking charge of the North London club and Fabio Paratici joining as Sporting Director.
Tottenham are apparently confident that an agreement has been reached after around 48 hours of negotiations with Conte’s representatives.
The news of official talks was first broken this week by Sky Sports Italia and the story has snowballed ever since.
The Telegraph reported earlier this evening that a number of Spurs players are excited by the prospect of Conte joining them in North London and view the appointment as a ‘coup’.
Spurs have been without a permanent boss since late April, finishing the season with interim head coach, Ryan Mason, in charge. However, if TalkSPORT are to be believed, the wait may finally be over for Tottenham fans.
